Day of Champions

Day of Champions is Unification through Sports for the special needs community in the St Vrain Valley School District. This year will be the 8th year we are doing this project for Silver Creek Leadership Academy. It is a SVVSD field day for our unified athletes.

About Me

My name is Mayson Bogrett. I am a senior at Silver Creek High School and I am apart of the SCLA which is the leadership academy that they offer. I picked Day of Champions not only for family history but to celebrate these kids. Kids in the special needs community don’t have very many ways to partake in athletics out of high school and so Day of Champions is a way for these kids to be celebrated and especially for the seniors to go out with a bang.
I have a love for sports and a heart for community, especially on a team. I have been a competitive dancer for 15 years, I love starting active and always down for anything.
